Jasmine Stitch Crochet Blanket- FREE pattern
Have you ever wondered how to crochet this incredible six-pedaled flower that combines puffs of stitches in a circular manner to create alluring texture and depth? The Jasmine Stitch Crochet, also known as the Daisy Puff Stitch can be worked up with any hook size and yarn weight to create unique puffy and thick or slim and thin flower blossoms. By using a smaller hook with thick yarn you will create thick pedals….. or use a large hook with thick yarn and create a looser look.
The blossom is essentially made up of crochet puff stitches and puff cluster stitches. These crochet puff stitches are worked into the chain stitches at the end of each blossom. By working your crochet puff stitches into a circular manner you create a center for the repeating “Jasmine Star” look.
The simple row repeat of the Jasmine Stitch creates a beautiful fabric pattern and drape that is perfect for creating a baby blanket, cowl, scarf, bag, cushion, hat, and so much more! Come along with me as me endeavor to make a beautiful Jasmine Stitch Crochet Blanket that will be snuggly and soft for the cold winter days ahead.
