Easy Mini Crochet Leaf Tutorial for Beginners – In this video, I will show how to crochet a small leaf. It is a VERY EASY and Quick Scrap yarn crochet project. With just one row and basic crochet stitches, it is a super quick and simple crochet pattern. These little leaves can be used to embellish headbands, beanies, bags, hats, and home decor projects, and I love to add them to my patterns.
Materials needed to make a crochet leaf
Clover Amour 4.5 mm crochet hook
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn, Sage Green
How to crochet a leaf
Using one strand of color F and 4.5 mm hook:
Rnd 1: Ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch and flipping to bottom of ch, hdc again, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in last ch, sl st to join.
Tie off leaving long tail to sew onto roses.
Sewing roses and leaf together:
Sew the two roses together working back and forth from one rose to another. Once the two roses are secure, attach the leaf in the back.
Sew onto head in desired location.
